On the 6th of September and the 7th we did the Healthy Lifestyle Program. On the first day we were introduced to Jeff Allen and Agalta Hidalgo. Jeff was an ex special forces and Agalta was a health nutritionist. The first day we were put into our teams and started our discussion. We talked about group work and working together in a team. We then went to do our first activity which was Tug-O-War. Our team lost most games. We then went back to room V to have a discussion about storming. We then did our next activity which was running from one line to another to get a ball and whoever didn't get a ball was eliminated. Me and Aonrai were the last two and he beat me. We then went back inside to listen to talks and learned about MSG and sugar in fatty foods.
The next day we went back to room V and did what makes us happy, like exercise, relaxation diet etc. We then started our activities. The first activity was a race a fill a box with all the coins. We lost our race but it came close. We then did a relay race where we all had to do a lap. We lost that as well by a second. We then did another race where we all had to run around together holding onto a rope without letting go. We lost that too because we didn't have the right strategy. After that he showed us exercises for ourselves to stay healthy and have a strong core. They were easy enough exercises. We then recapped everything in room V and talked about what we learned. After that we went home and the H.F.L was over.
