Fota Wildlife Park
On the 7th of March we went to Fota Wildlife park. We left the school at 07:15 and it took three hours to get to fota. the first thing we did when we got there was play games with the class split into two. After that we went on a tour guide around the park where we saw the giraffes and the kitchen where they prepare the food for the animals. We then saw more animals like the spider monkeys. One of the spider monkeys was the oldest animal in the park. Her name was blue eyes and she was 46 years old. After that we went to the restaurant to get something to eat. Outside the restaurant there were peacocks and peahens. After that we went down to the gibbons. They started to do their territorial call which they do every hour for 20 minutes. We then saw the Tapirs and white spotted deer. After that we went to the house were all the lizards and butterflies were. We saw the iguana, turtles and the frogs. After that we went to see the lions, rhinos, and tigers. After that we went back to the start of the tour where we learned more about other Irish animals. We went to the shopping center City Gate for two hours then left and got home at 08:30.
